Tobias Meier and Silvan Jeger have already been working together on various projects for years. As a duo, they investigate the field of tension delimited by physical involvement and exertion on the one hand, and a cool outer appearance and serenity on the other hand. At the moment, they are interested in different possibilities for musical reflection on their own work and for ironising "free" improvisation in the very best sense of the word – but always with passion and with sweat on their brows.

Tobias Meier und Silvan Jeger arbeiten schon seit Jahren in verschiedenen Projekten zusammen. Als Cold Voodoo untersuchen sie das Spannungsfeld von körperlicher Involviertheit und Verausgabung einerseits und einer kühlen Aussensicht und Abgeklärtheit andererseits. Im Moment interessieren sie unterschiedliche Möglichkeiten, die eigene Arbeit musikalisch zu reflektieren und „freie“ Improvisation im besten Wortsinn zu ironisieren – aber immer mit Herzblut und Stirnschweiss.
